Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about custom marine canvas and boat covers.
How much does a custom bimini top or boat cover cost?
Every cover is built to your specific boat, so price depends on the size, the fabric you choose, and features like windows, zippers, and frames. Send us your boat's make, model, and year for a free, no-obligation quote.
What fabrics do you use for marine canvas?
Marine-grade acrylic canvas (such as Sunbrella), marine vinyl, and clear vinyl window material, all sewn with UV-resistant thread and stainless or marine-rated hardware. These resist fading, mildew, and saltwater.
Can you repair my existing canvas instead of replacing it?
Usually, yes — and it's often far cheaper than a full replacement. We replace clear vinyl windows, fix or swap zippers, reinforce seams, replace snaps and fasteners, and re-stitch worn areas with UV-resistant thread.
Do you do dockside or on-site work for local boats?
For local boats, marine canvas work can often be measured and fitted dockside. Get in touch with your location and we'll figure out the logistics together.
How long does a marine canvas project take?
Turnaround depends on the project and the season — covers are busiest in spring and early summer. Contact us with your project and we'll give you a current time estimate along with your quote.
